'Dot's Pink' Mums

'Dot's Pink' Mums
$10.00
Light salmon-pink flowers begin to open in early October and stick around to the first wintery November day. Their healthy foliage is fresh and keeps a nice mound shape until September when the flower buds start springing out. It’s a great border plant. It makes a great edger if you cut it back in June or if you don’t mind beautiful flowers spilling all over.
These are all the descendants of the plants grown by Dot D., who was a GCOG member in the 1970s and ‘80s. Their official name is ‘Sheffield Pink’ but our members have been calling them ‘Dot’s Pink mum’ for over half a century.
We normally don’t sell these at our plant sale, but we have it this year.
