Aster oblongifolium 'Raydon's Favorite'
Size / Sun / Conditions
2–4' tall. Full sun to light shade. Average soil.
Description
Native asters support pollinators at a critical time of year. The purple flowers cover the plant, which grows into the space left by fading warm weather bloomers. They are an unexpected colorful treat that compliments fall’s fading foliage that share their purple majesty until November’s hard frost. Combine with mum ‘sheffield pink’ and the beautiful fall foliage of amsonia.
