3–4' tall and wide. Full sun to light shade. Average to dry soil once established.
Description
Threadleaf bluestar is prized for its soft, needle-like foliage that creates a cloud-like texture in the garden. Pale blue star-shaped flowers appear in spring, but the real show comes in fall when the entire plant turns a luminous gold. Tough, deer-resistant, and long-lived, it is an excellent structural perennial for sunny borders and naturalistic plantings.

Aster oblongifolium 'Raydon's Favorite'
Size / Sun / Conditions
2–4' tall. Full sun to light shade. Average soil.
Description
Native asters support pollinators at a critical time of year. The purple flowers cover the plant, which grows into the space left by fading warm weather bloomers.
