‘Godzilla’ is a large, vigorous hybrid fern with arching fronds brushed in silver and green, set off by dark stems. Significantly larger than typical Japanese painted ferns, it makes a bold statement in shade gardens while retaining the refined texture that defines the group.
Excellent for woodland borders, it pairs beautifully with hostas, astilbe, and other shade perennials. Despite its size, it brings a sense of lightness and movement to shaded plantings, offering both presence and subtlety.
