-the display stands over 10 feet tall

-It took 5 1/2 hours to create the floral display

-100% of the greening base was sourced from our own yards

-Over half the flowers used were sourced from local Fairfield County, CT farms.

-All materials used to create our floral burst are completely biodegradable or recyclable. 100% Natural Floral Foam™ called Agra Wool International™, made from Basalt and a type of sucrose (cane or beet sugar) were used.

-it is pollinator friendly & bees 🐝 are feasting on the blooms

-all flowers will be given away to artists & attendees of the Art on Sound Beach Avenue event beginning at 4 pm.

-this was the first large scale floral installation created by the Garden Club of Old Greenwich celebrating their 100th year Anniversary in 2024.
